Our carbon black products for architectural tinting, decorative tinting and masstone applications help achieve superb color performance with good processability.
Color performance is a key requirement in architectural coating. Since virtually all architectural coatings require shading, our tinting carbon blacks can be used to achieve consistent tint and undertone performance in the finish coating.
Fumed silica is frequently used to improve rheological properties of architectural coatings, it can also prevent sedimentation, improve weather resistance and improve scratch resistance.
MONARCH® 120 Carbon Black
Tinting carbon blacks are used for exterior decorative applications to allow formulators to create the wide range of colors that designers, specifiers and consumers demand. Tinting carbon blacks such as MONARCH 120 carbon black demonstrate good stability, blue undertone and tint strength. They demonstrate good compatibility with titanium dioxide.
MAJESTIC® 710 Carbon Black
Our MAJESTIC 710 specialty carbon black for water-based systems is easy to disperse, without needing substantial milling equipment, while enabling increased color performance.
