Fumed Silica

Hydrophobic fumed silica products are exceptional rheology additives for adhesives and sealants. Meanwhile, our hydrophilic silicas are used in electrolytes for batteries.

Our CAB-O-SIL^® and ENERSIL^® fumed silica additives are used in battery applications to enhance rheological properties and to promote stability during battery operation. These additives improve the battery's performance and safety by preventing particle settling and maintaining a consistent dispersion of active materials in the electrolyte.
