Code of Business Ethics

We are committed to conducting our business with integrity and in compliance with the laws that govern our operations. This commitment is consistent with our core values, which guide the behavior of all employees.

As part of its regular review of our compliance and ethics policies, our Board of Directors adopted a revised Code of Business Ethics, which became effective on May 27, 2014. Our new Code amends and replaces Cabot's Global Ethics and Compliance Standards, and is applicable to all Cabot employees, officers and directors.

Our Code of Business Ethics sets forth a set of basic principles for everyone who works at Cabot, outlining our responsibilities to each other, our customers, our shareholders, those with whom we do business and the communities in which we operate. As part of our recent revisions, we updated the Code to more clearly define Cabot's expectations of employees across multiple risk areas, including enhanced discussions regarding anti-corruption, international trade laws, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, proper use of social media, labor practices/human rights and protection of privacy.
