Products made from circular value chains such as materials recovered from end-of-life tires and/or recycled materials.
Today, RECOVERED solutions are represented by circular reinforcing carbons and circular black masterbatches.
Circular reinforcing carbons are made from circular value chains, produced using materials recovered from end-of-life-tires, such as tire/plastics pyrolysis oils via ISCC PLUS mass balance approach and/or reclaimed carbon co-pelletized with virgin carbon black.
Products produced using TPO offer the same quality and performance as Cabot’s traditional carbon blacks and are available in variety of reinforcing and semi-reinforcing grades.
Products that use reclaimed carbon have handling advantages for customers who wish to increase sustainable content in their rubber products without the added complexity of managing an additional particle material stream. In addition, Cabot’s co-pelletization process results in a blend that resists stratification during transportation, and that also ensures very good distribution of the reclaimed carbon in the final rubber blend.
Made from ISCC PLUS certified tire pyrolysis oil (TPO) derived from end-of-life tires, VULCAN 7H-C circular reinforcing carbon offers drop-in performance for VULCAN 7H.

Download BrochureInternational Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) is a globally applicable certification system designed to ensure compliance with ecological and social requirements, greenhouse gas emissions savings and traceability. Mass balance accounting is a chain of custody approach designed to trace the flow of materials through a complex value chain. It is well suited to address the challenges of tracking the flow of recycled feedstock around chemical industry plants.
