Our manufacturing facility is continuously committed to maintaining the highest standards in safety, health and environmental (SH&E) performance while positively impacting the community in which we operate.

Our carbon black plant has three manufacturing units operated by about 80 employees who produce carbon blacks primarily for sale in the Asia Pacific region. 

Our Chiba Technology Center (CTC) is co-located at the Chiba carbon black plant. Our employees at the CTC work in cooperation with several global functions as well as the Billerica and Asia Technology Centers as a base for R&D and technical support for our Reinforcement Materials business.

We adhere to the most stringent of safety standards and aim to set an industry standard for safety, health and environmental (SH&E) performance.
