Pharmaceuticals & Personal Care

Our innovative products and additives offer solutions for applications ranging from medicinal tablets to skin and beauty care.

As the global population continues to grow and medical technologies and treatments advance, the need for ultrapure, fully traceable pharmaceuticals increases. Activated carbon is an important tool in the purification of intermediates and end products for the pharmaceutical industry. With its adsorption capacity for a wide range of organic molecules, varying from odorous compounds to dark-colored bodies and proteins, activated carbon is often used for final polishing to remove residual color and odors.

Our activated carbon products meet stringent quality standards and are chosen for their performance and consistency. We are proud to serve the pharmaceutical industry from our highly regulated good manufacturing practices (GMP)-certified facility.

Our CAB-O-SIL® fumed silica and SpectrAl® fumed alumina products have unique properties and serve as key ingredients for a wide variety of cosmetic and personal care products, including antiperspirants, hair and body care products, cosmetics, fragrances and dental products.
