We offer a range of products for the treatment and purification of hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) and monosodium glutamate (MSG) for the food industry.
HVP and MSG are widely processed into flavorings destined for use in food products. We have developed specific powdered activated carbons (PACs) for HVP decolorization. For MSG purification, both PAC and granular activated carbons (GACs) can be used depending on the process conditions, either to purify the MSG/glutamic acid solution or to decolorize the recycling base liquor. We offer a wide variety of activated carbons with different pore structures and particle sizes to purify flavors and aromas.
